Performance Sound-Installation

The performance is a provocation for the infinite faces that a personality may have. A woman always has to fights with different roles in the society: mother, lover, wife, friend, employer, and sophisticated apparel in the world. The performer transforms the gaze of the spectator in a mirror where she looks at herself every time she changes her dresses. Each of the seven dresses represents a different and peculiar personality. The performer put necklaces and dresses one over another. Every time she wears a dressing hanged over the wall after she comes near by the public and looks herself in the eyes of someone as in a mirror. There is still a White dresshanged in the middle of the room with a bowl underneath it with water. Sometimes the performer goes there and washes the dress with the water. The drops falling down make noise that is amplified with microphone in all over the surrounding area.
The drops contaminate the electronic music composed with love songs. When she has all the dresses on she stops in front of the spectator and takes them off slowly to the distance of two steps one after one till she remains with a white undercoat.
At that point she goes to the white wet dress hanged and she wears it leaving the dry chemise hanged. Washing the white dress becomes a metaphor of the sense of guiltiness with whom
the consciousness has anyhow to fight.
